Alice’s Adventures Underground, Waterloo

“There is a place. Like no place on Earth. A land full of Wonder, Mystery and Danger”

Lewis Carroll, 1865

Have you ever been sat at your desk on a non-descript Wednesday afternoon and begun to fantasize about what it would be like to fall down a rabbit hole? We think Lewis Carol was on to something (and probably on something) when he came up with the idea. If the concept excites you then it’s time to channel your inner Alice and head to the vaults, a series of tunnels beneath Waterloo, to experience ‘Les Enfants Terrible’s’ weird and wonderful interactive performance.

At the start of each show you will be presented with the tantalizing question Eat me or Drink me which will determine how the show will unfold for you. Within the labyrinth of tunnels you will experience a pychedelic adventure involving mysterious cubby holes, projection screens, a pipe-smoking caterpillar, hedge mazes, a mad hatter tea party and many more surreal surprises. Through a mixture of puppetry, fusion story-telling, music and circus tricks you will piece together the puzzle in your search for Alice who’s been lost in the looking glass. Just make sure you don’t lose lose your head to the fearsome Queen of Hearts!

The 90 minute experience comes to a close with a cocktail and a game of pink flamingoes in the Queen’s Garden Bar. Intrigued? To find out more visit ‘Les Enfant Terrible’s’ website or even better- book yourself a ticket via The Vaults website and take part yourself!

Tickets cost from £35 – £60 (Premium tickets include access to the private King’s Bar where the kooky characters of Wonderland reside)
