Bob Bob Ricard, Soho

Close your eyes and think about all the superflous but fun inventions you can think of… the soda maker or the cocktail fountain perhaps? Nope we have come up with something far more frivolous. At Bob Bob Ricard in Soho you will find a champagne bell at every table!
Perfect for those days where you  fancy being utterly spoilt, this restaurant and bar is a cut above the rest. Situated on James Street the atmosphere here is elegant and the clientele distinctly glamorous- so leave the scruffy T-shirt and jeans look at home and use a visit here as an excuse to dress up in your finest!

Anna Karenina eat your heart out

The restaurant serves up the very best of British and Russian classics using ingredients sourced from local farms, dairies and fisheries- as a result each dish is truly something special. The three cheese souffle is one of their signature meals or if you want to combine comfort with a dash of luxury try the lobster served with french fries or the Russian Borsch made with Orkney beef is a fantastic option if you fancy something authentic.

Not your average fish and chips… trust us there won’t be a crumb left!

The decor  reflects the Russian influence with complex,  kitsch patterns and train-carriage like booths complete with sumptuous royal blue velvet curtains that would not look out of place in a Tolstoy adaptation. Expensive so perhaps not for every day but certainly worth a visit for those times when nothing other than being treated like Russian royalty will do!
