Bounce, Holborn

What better way to beat the mid week slump and put a spring in your step than with a good wholesome game of ping pong!
If you’re bored of the same old after work food and drinks this could be the perfect way to shake up the monotony. Bounce is located in Holborn, allegedly on the premises of where the game of ping pong was first invented. From the outside the venue makes little impression but once you descend to the basement you find yourself in a large open plan space with a bar, restaurant area and of course ping pong tables. The restaurant area overlooks the ping pong action below and serves up a variety of unusual and delicious pizzas such as the Honey roasted butternut squash, tenderstem broccoli, bufala ricotta, pine nuts & fresh chilli or the Spicy pork & fennel, plum tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, basil & fresh chilli.

There is also a variety of tempting bar snacks available. The bar is a great place to chill between games and offers an interesting selection of quirky, taste-bud tingling cocktails such as the ‘Summer Thyme’ combining Ketel One vodka, lillet blanc, fresh lemon, grapefruit & thyme sherbet and the aptly name ‘Ping Pong Show’, a delicious blend of Don Julio Blanco tequila, lemongrass, ginger, fresh lime, agave syrup and pineapple juice.
Whether you want a casual game with friends or a full on tournament with a group of people, a game of ping pong is a great ice breaker and the perfect way to inject a bit of fun into your day.

If there are 6 or more of you then it’s best to book but some tables are also held back for walk in guests. Prices off peak are £10 for half an hour and £13 on peak or £18 for 60 mins off peak, £26 on peak. Pizza prices are from £11.50. So turn off the laptop, grab a mate and find your competitive streak at Bounce!
