It’s Monday, it’s raining and if you’re anything like us you’re already counting down the days until the weekend. And what goes best with week-ends?
Sitting back and relaxing over your favourite tipple of course!
But we simply don’t have the patience to wait until the week-end to tell you about our new quirky find- a brand new off license on Chatsworth Road in Clapton.
Before you unfollow us on twitter, listen up because this is no ordinary off licence, this is Brahms & Liszt where you can try your alcohol before you buy it!
Created by the people behind Quiquiriqui Mezkal on Hackney Road, this new addition to the alcohol scene is open 6 days a week and prides itself in stocking some of the most interesting and hard to find spirits, wine, beer and cider from around the world as well as featuring products from small, independant brands that Brahms & List feel deserve your attention such as the locally produced Butlers Gin.
There is a tasting room, regular seminars and events such as the monthly cocktail-making classes. But if you’re feeling lazy don’t fret because they have the all equipment needed to make your own creations at home. Still too much effort? Just grab some of the cocktails they have readymade for you to take away. It’s not just the alcohol that’s for sale, the art furniture, tableware and vintage booze inspired finds used to are also up for grabs! We think this is the best off license we’ve ever heard of, why don’t you pay a visit and let us know if you agree?
Open: Tues – Sun, 11am – 11pm
