Any design fans out there? If so, this exhibition is worth checking out.
Hosted by The Book Club on Leonard Street in Shoreditch, head curator Liat Chen is proud to present an exciting and engaging design exhibition- Plus Minus as part of the London Design Festival this month.
Plus Minus will take you on a fascinating journey through the design process featuring a dramatic display of light objects, technology and electronic instruments. Designers Naama Hofman, Nir Adoni and Dave Cranmer will each be bringing to the exhibition their own creative spin on design. This will focus on unique forms of illumination, an introspective look at constructed environments through architecture and the mind-boggling ‘special effects’ of technology- including a terrifying robotic crow, first appeared in designers Dave Cranmer’s dream enticing him to recreate it in reality- and at 2.5 meters high no less! This creative exhibition is set to redefine your perspectives on the traditional forms of light and technology and what it can do to change your expectations of these elements.
The exhibition is launching tomorrow 11th September running till the 16th November, at the ground floor bar and lobby of The Book Club venue. This space is said to be the new emerging art space of the East End so if you’re an art/design fan and new to the area then this place is worth a first stop.
And entry is free!
