If you’re someone who loves the latter but is trying to give up the cigarette part then it’s time to visit The Vape Lab, London’s first ecigarette café situated on Shoreditch High Street where you can combine these two pleasures guilt free.

Electronic cigarrettes are fast becoming a popular alternative to normal ones due to the fact that they function using vapour instead of smoke thereby eradicating the damaging effects of tar and other chemicals. The other advantages are you can use them inside and even chose from a wide selection of different flavours or ‘juices’ as they are better known, indeed so popular have ecigarretes become that a whole new term has been coined for this habit called ‘vaping’.

 

As soon as you enter The Vape Lab you realise this is a quirky establishment as you are greeted by baristas dressed in white lab coats. Immediately to your right is a kiosk selling ecigarrettes, where a wide variety of flavoured juices are available such as absinthe, Cuban tabbacco and even custard. You can purchase ecigarettes from £45 – £100 or hire them out for £15 an hour. Because most of the ecigarette business is done online this also gives punters the opportunity to try out the juices in a relaxed environment before deciding which juices they prefer. With oak panelled walls, white tiles and vintage style furnishing this is the perfect merging of new and old styles that  reflects the nature of the business.
